Associate Clinician Opportunities in Burnaby & Across British Columbia

Oceanside Psychology Group is currently hiring Associate Clinicians to provide therapy services in Burnaby and online across British Columbia.

We welcome applications from:

  • Licensed Psychologists in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
  • Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) in good standing with a recognized professional association in British Columbia
  • Clinicians eligible for and actively pursuing licensure with the CHCPBC

This position is ideal for clinicians seeking psychologist jobs in BC, counselling careers in Burnaby, or private practice therapist positions with steady referrals and meaningful clinical work.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who practice from a relational, experiential, or attachment-informed lens (e.g., EFT, IFS, psychodynamic, relational therapies). Training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is considered an asset, though not required.

We believe meaningful clinical work happens when therapists feel supported, valued, and able to focus fully on their clients. Our goal is to create a practice where you can build depth in your work, develop long-term therapeutic relationships, and grow professionally within a collaborative, respectful team.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for clinicians who value consistency, reliability, and long-term growth within a team setting.

Our ideal Associate Clinician:

  • Can commit to a minimum of three, six-hour shifts per week
  • Maintains a caseload of at least 15 client sessions per week
  • Is interested in building a sustainable career within a collaborative team

Positions may be in-person in Burnaby, hybrid, or fully virtual, serving clients across British Columbia.

Associate Clinicians at Oceanside Psychology Group benefit from:

  • Consistent internal referrals
  • Administrative support
  • Secure electronic health record platform
  • Ongoing marketing and advertising investment
  • Peer consultation opportunities
  • Structured systems that reduce administrative burden
  • Beautiful office space for in-person clinicians
  • Supervision opportunities for applicants with the CHCPBC

Our goal is to allow clinicians to focus on high-quality clinical care while we manage the operational systems and referral infrastructure that support sustainable practice.
